دیوارهای شمعی طره‌ای (CPWs) راهکاری سریع و مقرون‌به‌صرفه برای سازه‌های نگهبان خاک هستند که به رفتار پیچیده‌ای شناخته می‌شوند. این مقاله به بررسی تأثیر فاصله مرکز تا مرکز شمع‌ها (S) و طول مدفون‌شدگی شمع (Le) بر نشست سطح خاک، لنگر خمشی شمع و جابه‌جایی جانبی دیوار می‌پردازد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که شبیه‌سازی‌های عددی می‌توانند بینش ارزشمندی درباره رفتار دیوارهای شمعی طره‌ای ارائه دهند. با کاهش طول مدفون‌شدگی شمع (Le) از 7 به 2.8 و کاهش نسبت L/H از 2 به 1.4، رفتار شمع به تدریج به یک سیستم طره‌ای نزدیک‌تر شده و میزان گیرداری آن کاهش می‌یابد. همچنین، افزایش بار سربار از 0 به 60 کیلوپاسکال موجب افزایش 172 درصدی در حداکثر لنگر خمشی پیش‌بینی‌شده شمع می‌شود. این مطالعه عددی به درک بهتر رفتار دیوارهای شمعی طره‌ای تحت شرایط مختلف بارگذاری کمک می‌کند.
